The stupid environmental movement

In Sweden, and I guess in many countries around the world, there is a fracture of the environmental movement using methods to "make them heard" by sitting protests on the streets and blocking the traffic.

You have probably seen it in your country as well, at least in the News.

I would call them the destroying environmental movement.

They destroy and fuck up the serious and hard-working people who are doing a great job of trying to change the development of the greenhouse effect.

Those trying to reach ordinary people like us with information about the disaster we are moving into, faster and faster. 

It is a reality if you are listening to all the independent scientists around the world.

If we don't do anything now, we will destroy our planet and it could be an irreversible climate change, millions of people will die, and other millions will be forced to move from their homes.

It is a fact, due to many scientists, that if the average temperature on the earth rises more than 2 degrees we could reach the threshold where we could lose control and nature would take over.

We will have a lack of food.  Because rising temperatures have a negative impact on cereal production in tropical and temperate zones, such as wheat, rice, and corn. A total of 5.7 million square kilometers of arable land will be rendered ineffective.

Most smaller mammals that are unable to migrate to higher ground levels will perish as a result of climate change.

Every year, 4.5 billion people are exposed to heat waves, 60 million people are affected by floods, and 1.75 billion people face water shortages. The acidification of the sea accelerates as PH values fall by 62 percent. As a result, the marine ecosystem suffers.

And this could be irreversible! 

This is what we are facing.

We have a lot of serious scientists working on that fact, trying to reach out to us, trying to make us realize the importance of doing something now.

Greta Thunberg was smart when she started her movement! She stood there with her sign by the Government Offices, not blocking anyone to pass her, not making anyone angry. 

And she reached governments and politicians around the world. 

By just standing.

With a sign.

And a lot of knowledge. 

Then we have these nut heads! I know hard words, but I think they are really stupid!

They are not many, but enough to make headlines in the News. 

Blocking the traffic.

They don't have much to say, they just sit there. 

Making people angry, people trying to go to their work, people trying to make their living, and they can't make an ordinary discussion, those I have seen anyway.

Recently three guys were blocking the traffic in the center of Stockholm with a sign saying "Reset the wetlands".

They couldn't argue their point. They just sat there making people angry, making people laugh at them.

Probably not many people understood what they were protesting against, what a wetland is, and why we should reset our wetlands. 

Not in the middle of Stockholm anyway.

Wetlands are important for the carbon dioxide binding, or coal binding in the ground but people in a city like Stockholm can't generally reflect on that issue. 

Wetland isn't their life.

So if they stop the traffic in a city with a sign like that, they oppose all the serious work done by serious people.

The most effective protest I've seen was the protests against the war in Ukraine done in Russia, by the Russian people. 

People holding white paper with nothing written on it.

Everyone understood.

The government understood.

The police understood.

So do like Greta instead, and you win a lot of people to your side.
