How to make money online 2022

Photo Karolina Grabowska from Pexels

This Is both a “make easy money online” article and not. All the methods I write about are all tested by me and if not am I telling that. There are so many make-money articles on medium and online with almost the same topics about the subject. I have sometimes a feeling that the writer doesn't always have worked with what they are writing about.

And yes this could be another one but I will try to make it my way and not use any AI writing tool. I use them sometimes but feel a bit split about it, it is not writing in my opinion. It is article making, and that’s ok for those who have it as a living but I am not, I write as a hobby and relaxing. And I am still learning about writing, especially in English, it is not my native language so I have to struggle a bit and learn. Hope you can read the article without misunderstanding, I sometimes probably use the wrong words and my grammar is not the best all the time. But happy reading anyway.

Making money online is both easy and hard, most of the effort you do will show up after about 5–6 months. You will not make money at once, those who write about short time money have probably had had a bit of luck or a lot of knowledge. It is not fast money for most of us, first of all, you have to have an audience. A lot of visitors have to visit your blog, website, or you have to have a large email list. And that takes time.

It is possible to buy an email list but I have not seen anyone with a good experience from that. They are often old emails and are not in use anymore. I have not tried that so I don’t know, it is only what I read about.

So the first you have to do is grow an audience if you don’t have any. That’s your first goal. And there is a large problem. How to grow an audience in a blog. The only thing I could suggest, and know, is to write, write and write again. You can use an AI tool for writing, but that is probably boring when you use it for a long time. I think it is better to write about things you love and know.

I use blogger and of course, medium for my writing and haven’t written for so long, so my audience isn’t anything to talk about. One good thing with blogger is that you can connect to Google Adsence directly and have advertisements on the blog. But only if you have many readers. As I wrote before that takes a while to grow.

A mail list is possible to grow a bit faster if you use tools like GrowMeOrganic, KENDO, and others. To affiliate with email is not forbidden and isn’t equivalent to spam. But you can't only have affiliate links in the mail, you have to have a more personal touch. A quiz, a story, or something like that.

GrowMeOrganic

GrowMeOrganic is, I think, one of the best if you can afford it, it costs $49/month and above. I have only tried it but what I saw was good. You can grow an email list with 100000 names quite fast. It also can create email marketing campaigns like Mailchimp. It can create chatbots. Find email addresses from a list of websites. Extract email from LinkedIn and more.

KENDO

KENDO is for making a mail list with LinkedIn contacts and people you visit at LinkedIn. It is not so expensive, from $14/month (600 credits) and above. You have to install an extension in Chrome and visit LinkedIn in the web browser. And you can export your mail list and email verification. It works fine for me, I think it's okay.

 Snov.io

Snov.io is also a Chrome extension. With Snov.io you can collect email from any site you visit. I haven’t used it so much, mostly tried it. But it seems to work fine. It is free for two months with 50 credits per month. It is possible to copy and paste emails, to export a mail list you have to upgrade and it costs from $33/month.

Twiends

Twiends makes it possible to grow your Twitter account, they have an ethical sight and help you slowly grow your Twitter account. It has a very nice UI and is easy to use. Recommend it. The cost is $9/week. You can stop the subscription from one week to another. You can also pause the subscription for up to three months.

Affiliate programs

There are a lot of affiliate marketplaces online. Those I have listed here are those I am using and have experience with. Some of them are easy to connect to, others have a higher requirement from you. It could be how you are going to advertise, to whom your, for example, website or blog are directed. Or how many subscribers you have.

Clickbank

Clickbank is one of the oldest affiliate program distributors, it started around 1993 in a garage and has grown to one of the largest. It is easy to connect to and easy to connect to companies. You don’t have to wait for their okay to use their affiliate program. Most of the companies have good affiliate tools. But there is a lot of, in my eye, non-serious products. So you have to search a lot for products with quality if you care about that. You often have direct contact with companies and they often offer help for your affiliate work. Many companies give “selling” courses for you to do a better job.

Awin

Awin affiliate programs is a very well-working site. It is a bit easier to work with and they have an affiliate program for the whole world. Most companies have good tools for your affiliate work. It is a bit harder to connect to companies, they have to okay you before you can connect to them. They have a large catalog of companies so it isn’t hard to make some connections. The response time from companies could sometimes be long, but it is mostly from them who don’t want to work with you. I like it and have many contacts there.

Amazon Associates

Since 1996, Amazon Associates has been one of the best affiliate programs for beginners. In reality, it was the world's first internet affiliate marketing program. And, with a lot of firms learning how to sell on Amazon, the potential for affiliates to develop appears limitless. The commissions are low but you have around 1,5 million products to choose from.

CJ

I am a bit new on CJ, but what I have glimpsed seems alright. It isn't the best UI but it is okay. It has a lot of companies engaged, most of them are doing a review of you before you get connected to them.

Fiverr

Fiverr is one of the best sites for affiliates. They have a large number of promotion tools. From videos to banners to ebooks. There is no problem finding stuff for your interests and audience.

Bluehost

Bluehost is a web hosting company, they have been around for a while as web hoster. They have a great resource of affiliate tools and are easy to connect to.

Many web hosting companies have an affiliate program, search for a web host at google and you will find a lot of opportunities for affiliating.

Moosend

Moosend is an email marketing website. They have very good help for your affiliate work. Many tools to work with. Banners, email, video, and much more gadgets. They have a nice affiliate program to make you have a good start.

Lemonads

Lemonads has a very serious approach and wants to work with you like teamwork and help you as an affiliate. They want to discuss with you before you connect to them, and help you in the right direction. They don't leave you alone in your way into the affiliate marketing business.

Knoji

At Knoji you can find affiliate links to more established companies like Apple, H&M, etc I haven't tried to connect to any of them yet and I think many of the larger companies have high demands on your ways to affiliate with them. But do you already have a working blog, for example, is it worth a try.

Dropshipping

Dropshipping is fun but a slow way to make money and a lot of work. I have two e-commerce websites. One in EU, Print on any thing, and one in the USA, Print on any thing USA, if you live in Europe and click on Print on any thing USA, you will be redirected to my European site and the other way around if you live in the USA.

You have to work a lot with SEO to make a good ranking in Google for your site. It takes a while. I have been working on them for about one year and haven't sold so much to talk about. But my goal is to make them work and sell in about 2-3 more years.

I am using Shopify, it costs me $29/month for each site, there is a lot of other shop hostings you can use, like Woocommerce or Bigcommerce.

I decided to use Shopify because it is the oldest and I think it best to work with for me and my purpose. It has a lot of apps to integrate with the shop. There are also a lot of users to get help from and their support is good. The other ones are probably good too but I have not worked with them so I have no experience of how they are.

I think the shipping time is one important issue for dropshipping, I have searched a lot to find good suppliers with short shipping time. Many drop shipping companies have a monthly charge to use them and I wanted my costs low so I had to search a lot to find some with short delivery time and low prices on their products and low or no monthly cost.

Hope this article had been a help for you and an inspiration for your further business, keep on working and don't give up to early. It can take time, let it do so, you will learn a lot on your way.

Why it takes long time to establish an e-commerce store without any money

 (For me, anyway)

Photo Andrea Piacquadio from Pexels

From the very beginning when I started my online store I decided not to involve my friends and family, in any way.

For me, that was important.

Friends are friends and family is family, and should so be I think. Involving friends and family as customer relies on the guilt I think, and will not end well, not with friends.

That was number one for me.

Number two was because I have no money to invest with and I decided not to borrow any money for my business.  It must, and should grow by itself.

And there came the second problem, how to grow something without advertising, and advertising, that costs money, it is a huge problem.

Email is one thing, but then you have to have an email list. I will not involve my friends, and that's my email list.

So that's no option, and to grow my email list at my store, people have to subscribe.

And that means I have to have visitors.

So there's a moment 22, without visitors, no subscribers, without subscribers, no email list.

Make a Facebook page, someone thinks.

Yes, I've done that, but a business page on Facebook depends on advertising, and again a cost. I want to reach people, not companies. And a business page suggests companies follow. And that doesn't sell.

People with the same ideas and businesses connect. And that's nice, but don't implicate buyers.

Instagram! Yes, also an idea, and fulfilled.

Instagram is almost like Facebook, why shouldn't it be, it is the same company. It is a bit easier to connect to "ordinary" people but most of them who follow you are people with the same idea and interest, to start a business. And yes, you get some input and ideas, but seldom customers.

You can put most of the social media in the same box. Followers are often people and businesses with the same goal.

It is important to sell yourself, someone says, and your business, and that's the third problem.

In my mind, that is like hustling and it is wrong to think so, I know, but I still think so. I have to climb that mountain, but it is still, a bit hard for me, to reach my goal.

Instagram and Facebook are to forget, it's advertising there to reach the customer I want. LinkedIn feels wrong for my kind of product. Twitter can't stand it, I dislike Twitter. And I have not analyzed it, I just do.

What's more?

Time!

Time is the word.

Time and SEO. They are still free and don't cost anything, at least now.

So I decided to let it take time.

Two year at least before it will bring any profit.

So to everyone who thought of starting an e-commerce business without money I want to say…. Do it! It is fun.

But, don't believe that you are going to succeed at the beginning. Let it take time.

Don't rush, let it slowly grow.

And work on SEO, so you get a better position in Google.

If you can do it full time, it is easier, then you can dig into it, and fully understand every process. I can't, I have my full-time job as an embryologist and that is a bit far away from the knowledge of how to manage a business. But I use a lot of time trying to understand.

But I know nothing about algorithms and how they affect you on social media and marketing.

Why does he do it then, someone perhaps thinks?

First of all, I think it's fun.

Second, it is far away from my daily job, and I think it is important to do other things in your spare time. It makes you a better person, both at home and at work.

Third, I have some loans to pay off and I want to do it quickly. I don't want to have that on my shoulder anymore. So I need an extra income.

And perhaps one day can work from wherever I want. Misunderstand me right, I love my full-time job, but I am a bit tired of going to the same place every day. I want to spend more time at my summer house, where I feel free in my mind.

If there is anyone who has a tip or an idea to reach customers and buyers, please give me a hint and I would be grateful to you forever :-)

And, of course, it must be free of charge.

Is there anything like passive income?

Photo Alexander Mils from Pexels

Many articles on the internet are about passive income.

I don't understand that.

There is nothing like passive income.

Yes, if you inherit money, or already have money, you can earn it from the stock market or something like that.

But many write about ways like drop shipping, Etsy, blogging, affiliate, and so on.

That is not passive income, it is quite an active way to make money.

There aren't many ways to make an easy reasonable income without work.

Everything about selling isn't passive, it is very much work behind that.

You have to have patience and a lot of time, good ideas and a bit of luck.

Nothing grows overnight or by itself.

If you want to, let's say, have an e-commerce store with dropshipping products, you have to build a store, with help from sites like Shopify, WooCommerse, Wix, or BigCommerse among many others. It takes time to learn and understand how they work. Then you have to find a good drop shipping partner. Yes I know, AliExpress has a nice dropship but isn't always the ultimate partner, it has a long delivery time on most of their products, up to 6-8 weeks, and a customer wants it fast. I want it when I buy stuff.

So AliExpress isn't the best option, you can find products with a shorter delivery time, but you have to search. AliExpress is ok, but not the best, but it is free of charge. The better ones cost some money to use, and at the beginning of your business, you probably don't afford that.

You have to make money to make money.

I've started my e-commerce business a year ago, with no money to talk about.

I tried a lot of products and ways to sell, but nothing happened, so I tried another product and ways to sell. Nothing happened. And again, new product, no selling.

Until I realized that I have to give it time and patience, there is nothing like fast money. Customers, like myself, relays on stable and trustworthy companies.

We want to recognize the company, we must have seen it before. Before we trust it.

One way is advertising, but for that, you need money a lot of money. But if you, like I, don't have money. What to do?

You have to be seen.

And how do you do that?

Work on SEO, that is the most important thing you do. SEO is Search Engine Optimization for those who didn't know. I didn't know that, in the beginning.

I didn't know much about SEO and what it stand for, actually I didn't know what SEO was at all and how to optimize it, so I hired a person at Fiverr. It helped me a bit, but again, if you want a good job on your SEO, it costs a bit. I couldn't afford that, so it wasn't fully optimized to work well.

So I started to learn and understand SEO, I am not stupid, but perhaps slow, and there is much to understand, so I have a lot to learn. And that takes time too, and if you, like I, have another full-time job you haven't much spare time to spend on your business.

I use about 1 to 3 hours a day with my e-commerce store, and that isn't enough I think.

And then you have a life too, you have to live too, not only work.

Life is learning.

All the stories you read here about making big money in a short time, can't be true. I don't believe that. For most of us, it is hard work. You can't passively make money. It is not possible. Big money is big work. That's how it is.

And you, who believe writing is using an AI tool, it isn't, it's emptiness. It is nothing but a lot of words with no substance. No soul.

I am not a good writer but I try the best I can, and that's enough for me.

And yes, I sometimes use those tools, mostly because of my bad English. It's not my language. So I need help with a sentence here and there. But it is not writing.

A short way isn't always the right way.

The only way to accomplish anything real is to work. And work doesn't work passively.

I worked with the famous photographer Lennart Nilsson (A child is born) for about ten years, and one thing he learned me, among many others, of course, was to work.

Do it, fail, do it again, fail, do it once again, and so on until you succeed.

And take help from those who know things better.

So keep on, you who doesn't succeed at once, keep on.

One day you will.

How to make a profitable business without any money

It seems like the word with right now is a funnel for marketing and selling.

But what the f… is a funnel.

Many companies are advertising buy this funnel, and your selling will grow by 50%, they must have meant their selling.

Photo fauxels from Pexels free photos

A funnel is not a magic wand, it is how you make visitors to buyers. That's all.

Every commercial business has a sales funnel because every commercial business is attempting to flip visitors into leads and leads into paying customers.

But before you can talk about the funnel, you have to have visitors. It doesn't matter how well-done funnel you have unless you don't have visitors.

So before you even think about the funnel, you have to think about visitors.

That is the main problem, how to get visitors into your funnel?

Advertising and marketing, and yes there's a funnel too, is the only way to get visitors fast. But then you have to have money. Advertising at a good spot is expensive if you want effective marketing.

If you don't have money?

Most of those who start a side business like myself and my e-commerce business, do it as a small business in their spare time with no or a small budget.

So what to do?

First, you need time, time is on your side, there is nothing like easy passive money, the only thing you can offer is hard work, and time.

When I started my e-commerce business I decided to give it two years before I get any customer to talk about, so I work about 1 to 3 hours every day (evening and night) for nothing and that's how it is going to be I think. With a few selling now and then.

Second, you have to work on your SEO, that's the ultimate thing, you have to get a better position at Google. And there you need time too, it takes time to get a high score at Google.

This guy, says he has found a loophole in Google that works, he calls it invisible keywords.

I have not yet dug deeper into that, so I don't know, but I will and it would perhaps end up in a new article.

Buy the way, that's why I write, it is a good way to understand things. I have to dig into it to understand it and write about it.

You can get some help from Fiverr or other sites like that but again you need money, but you can start and download the e-book from Fiverr at the end of the article.

Learn SEO, I am still doing that, work hard, and give it some time and you perhaps and probably will end up with a working business.
