Tired of social media and want to learn something new?

Photo Viktor at picjumbo

Do you sometimes, like me, get tired of Wednesday's dance, cats, dogs, or whatever there is on social media and particularly TikTok?

There is an alternative for you to take a break from all the stuff that appears and pecks at attention and steals a lot of time from you scrolling through, sometimes for hours.

It is called Mix and is an app almost like TikTok in its execution but with more educating content.

You can see art, photos in different areas, design, hbtq related, hobbies, science, and from almost whatever you are interested in.

It is videos, photos, and articles with more educational content, presented in a fun way.

You can as in TikTok scroll through and watch directly, or save them for a later watch.

Give a thumbs up, or if you have to, a thumbs down (if you need to be negative, I prefer to leave it).

Give it a try and perhaps learn something new, get some perspective, and save yourself from TikTok for a while. I do so when I get tired of the sometimes repetitive stuff there is.

It is called Mix, as I wrote before, and you also avoid all the tiresome advertising there is on other social media.

What is cricut and a cricut machine.

A cricut is an digital reducing gadget that can reduce distinct materials, for example, paper, vinyl, card stock, and iron-on actions into extraordinary plans. Indeed, even cowhide and timber may be cut with a few cricut machines! The cricut can reduce nearly whatever would typically be cut with scissors or a x-acto blade. Be that as it can, a cricut can cut with far extra noteworthy accuracy and speed than can be executed the tough manner!

To use a cricut machine you have to have an SVG file with your image. An SVG file is a vector image. This means that it can be enlarged or reduced in size without losing quality. A vector graphic can also be referred to as a digital cutting file, a cutting file, or a Cricut Design Space file. These files are typically created using the design software that comes with your Cricut machine, but you can also create your own graphics with another software program that creates SVG files. Or download premade circuit files, there is a lot of premade files ready to download for free or you can buy.

But what machine to use, a Cricut machine costs about $180 and above on here depending on what size of the cut you want. If you want a bigger cut you have this at here, with a bigger cut size. That depends on what you want to put the circuit print on, a small cup or a large print on a t-shirt.

If you want to download premade cricuit files you can visit these sites for free SVG files.

2 Free SVG Designs

There are of course many more but these have a lot of SVG files to begin with.

After a while, you perhaps want to design your own. Often there is a software with the Cricut machine but they are often quite simple with a few design functions. You can download this app from Google Play Store Cricut for free for a beginning.

Hope you got some ideas and hints reading this. and have a creative, happy "cricutting".
