Diy Lamp
This weekend I had a creative inspiration so I made this lamp and the hand to hide the ugly cord.
It is not my whole original idea but I made it with some twist of my own.
The hand is made with plaster bandage (my hand) and an old shirt that has shrunk in the wash :-) and covered with a plaster bandage to make it hard.
I wanted the ruff "artistic" feeling so I made it without making the surface smooth and covering the plaster bandage.
I added some paint to make the fingers and shirt a little clearer.
The hand took a while to do, it had to dry between the moments, but the actual working time wasn't so long.
The lamp is made of a chicken net with large holes and a 10-meter light string with small led lamps threaded up and down through the holes in the chicken net.
The lamp was quite easy to do and I made it in about a couple of hours and hung it on a narrow strong string to relieve the electric cord.
I had quite fun doing it, and think it looks cool. For me, it is more like a sculpture than a lamp.
What do you think?
