Need to do a video presentation, these tools can help you

 

Have you sometimes wanted to do a video for instruction, education, information, or any other purpose but you haven't had anyone to be the speaker voice in the video. Are you a small company or a small organization without a large budget are these two online tools perhaps a solution for you.

They are an easy and intuitive solution for you to make your video and get a professional-looking presentation.

Both tools have several avatars to choose from and they can speak in many languages you can start with a template and rearrange it for your intent.

Synthesia has you perhaps seen at TikTok in several videos, presenting AI tools. 

I have tried them on an android tablet and it is not the ultimate way to use them, it is probably easier on a computer. It worked, but all functions are not so easy to manage so I will recommend that you use a laptop or any ordinary computer.

I'll start with elai.io, it is a company based in the USA, the contact address seems to be at the same location as Harvard Business Services, Inc. but I can't find any more information about the company, so I leave it by that.

Elai has at the moment 15 avatars to choose from and around 60 languages. It has about 30  templates to start from and you can change and add elements like images, shapes, and of course fonts. You can also add music.

You can rearrange the elements, scale, change the opacity, move them back or in front etcetera. You can also make slides, like a PowerPoint presentation.

You can try it for free, it costs from $21 for a 15 minutes presentation a month and $62 for 50 minutes a month.

Synthesia have you perhaps seen, as I wrote before, at TikTok in several presentations for many of the AI tools there are on the web.

Synthesia was founded in 2017 by a team of AI researchers and entrepreneurs from UCL, Stanford, TUM and Cambridge.

Synthesia has a bit more features than elai. 

It has more than 45 avatars to choose from, and you can also make a custom avatar from any person you like to have on the video (copyright has to be followed of course).

It has also about 30 premade templates to start from, with possibilities to add images, shapes and change background, and so on. 

You can also add music and record your voice clips and add.

You can also make slides, up to 6 per video, and add your PowerPoint presentation. It has also more than 60 languages to choose from.

You can also try this for free, it costs from $30 for 10 videos per month and if you need more there is a price discussion.

Conclusion 

If I should compare these two, does synthesia feel more "genuine" and have a better user interface and the avatar feels more human like, and that is why it is more expensive. If you are a smallorganizationn or company would probably elai be enough. I prefer synthesia, but you can get a okay result with elai.
