The team at SoundSwell is a young but experienced team of engineers, designers, and music lovers who decided to build the ultimate audio solution for people who spend time outdoors. Being close to nature helps you grow as a person, both mentally and physically. 

They started a Kickstarter to raise money to bring SoundSwell to life. They did a lot of research and development in the pre-Kickstarter phase. The goal was a design that could float on water. For that, they needed to learn about waterproofing electronics for that kind of exposure and to figure out how those electronics worked together into a speaker system so they could turn them off or on individually. With help from people who dared them to make the product better and with an audience who asked for more features. You'll see all that research and development in the final product: a sound system you can use anywhere you go, on any water sport you want to try, whether you're falling, paddling, or jumping. That's probably why they received some of the most encouraging product feedback Kickstarter has ever seen and were even named "Projects We Love." Because when it comes down to it, letting people everywhere doing more things outdoors—especially if it's listening to music!
